Iontophoresis (Treatment of hand and foot sweats)

The hands are inserted into the container filled with tap water until halfway. There are (+) or (-) electrodes in the cabinet. A direct current (20mA) is applied to the electrodes with a special tool. These sessions are repeated 15-20 days and 25 minutes. As a result of the sessions, there is a certain decrease in the supernumerary in 90% of the patients. Later sessions once a week are enough to not start over again. This treatment has begun to be implemented in collaboration with internal medicine specialists. Persons with sweating complaints should first investigate whether such disorders are present and if so, treat them. For this reason, people with such complaints must be internally controlled. Iontophoresis, which is a simple treatment in local hand and foot sweats which have no cause, has made great benefits. Recent studies have shown that this method achieves up to 90% success and has great advantages in terms of side effects and convenience compared to other treatment modalities. Surgical treatment can be applied to those who can not benefit from this treatment, those who can not benefit from oral medicine treatment. Drug treatment has serious systemic side effects such as mouth instability, impaired balance, and visual impairment. Surgical treatment is an endoscopic procedure which is not so simple.
