Depression

Depression, depressed mood, helplessness, hopelessness and feelings of guilt, decreasing interest in daily activities and withdrawal from previously enjoyable activities (eg, hobbies, social activities, sexuality etc.), loss of appetite or loss of sleep It is a more complex condition accompanied by concentration and attention problems. People who are depressed experience a major decline in their energies and often feel tired. They are much more frustrated than they used to be, they can express that they are very quickly angry and their tolerances are decreasing gradually. A variety of pain and leaks (eg, headaches, back pains, etc.) can be added to these complaints from time to time. In this state, depression is a condition that disrupts the functionality of the person and prevents the continuity of its daily life and its productivity. If left unattended, there is a high risk of chronicity if no help is obtained.

The biggest risk is of course the possibility of suicide. As a result of increasing feelings of helplessness and hopelessness during the depression, some patients are unable to find a solution and can harm themselves. If family history has a history of suicide or if they have had previous attempts, they are considered to be high risk factors. The concrete plans made on this issue and the desire to die should be taken seriously. All this indicates that these people cannot think healthy, there are great disruptions in their thought processes and urgent medical attention should be taken.
